STAGE 3 - Balanced Scorecard for Skills
BACKGROUND
There are two roles for workplace education evaluation within
the context of a Balanced Scorecard:
- It makes a direct contribution to the "learning
and innovation" measures that form the basis for long-term
growth;
- It supports the development of skills to
address other aspects of the Balanced Scorecard (i.e. Financial,
Customer, Internal).
Workplace education evaluation strategy is about defining
these two contributions in a way that they are aligned to
the critical aspects of strategy. In this site, we go through
a simple model of management by planning (MBP) to show how
workplace education evaluations support the Balanced Scorecard.
