Balanced scorecard approach:

In this approach to management a series of measures (or metrics) are developed and managed and this forms the basis for improvements. These measures are directly related to an organization's vision, mission and strategy. The metrics are organized into the categories of financial, customer, internal business processes, and learning and innovation.
